About Bungacello

This blog is about a 1928 Craftsman house in Charlottesville, Virginia. This fixer-upper has great bones, even after many years of hard use by U.Va. student renters. I am its soon-to-be proud owner. I am by no means a purist or an accomplished fixer-upper. I'll post irregularly here about my home-improvement trials, tribulations, and triumphs!

I'm pleased to have discovered a brief entry on the house in the Fry's Spring neighborhood Historic Survey Information Book from 2011, which you can download here. Here's a screenshot:

As I learn more about the house's history, I will add it here. Right now, the only other thing I know is that it has had two owners since 1978.
